Target Announces Lilly Pulitzer for Its Latest Design Collaboration

Target’s going a little Hamptons country club for its next design collaboration. The retailer is teaming with Lilly Pulitzer for a whopping 250-piece range of women’s and girl’s apparel, accessory, home and beauty items printed with Pulitzer’s iconic bright pastels. In the collection, you’ll find everything from nail polish and swim separates to a printed hammock.

The apparel range will also include plus-sized pieces, which makes us think that Target heard the pleas of blogger Chastity Garner, who called for a boycott of the brand during its Altuzarra promotion as the collection failed to offer any options for women falling in the plus range. The movement took off on the Internet, so we’re thinking that this time, Target wanted to avoid any drama by simply making its next designer collaboration more inclusive.

Prices for the collection peak at $250 with about 200 pieces ringing in at under $30. Pulitzer’s strong brand recognition could really make this one a success once it hits stores April 19.
