Fashion advertising concepts come and go, but Coach is sticking to its guns for these new Spring 2015 spots. Last season’s ads were pretty similar, photographed by Steven Meisel and his team consisting of Karl Templer on styling duties, Pat McGrath on makeup and Guido Palau on hair. Coach’s newly released ads continue to ooze a freshness the brand is striving for after changing up its aesthetic due to a dip in sales. We’re pretty certain Coach is taking a step in the right direction.
Meisel brought back a handful of girls from last season (Lexi Boling and Binx Walton) and invited newcomers Molly Bair, Grace Hartzel, Valery Kaufman, Julia Bergshoeff, Dylan Xue and male model Helge Vondereau. Art director Fabien Baron layered Meisel’s photos over the New York skyline, personifying the newly revamped Coach label. Some detailed shots of Coach’s new leather goods are added to the ads, giving customers a clear view of the accessories. The New York-based fashion company is certainly onto something here and we cannot wait to see what’s next.
