Although a somber mood still persists in Paris after the terrorist attack at the headquarters of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, designers rallied together with a resounding message: The show must go on. And so it did. Paris Men’s Fashion Week came and went this past week with noteworthy collections from the likes of Ann Demeulemeester, Dior Homme, Valentino and Givenchy.
One show that was noticeably absent from the calendar was Carven, which opted for by-appointment-only sessions in light of the departure of former Creative Director Guillaume Henry, who decamped to Nina Ricci in October; Fall 2015 was the last collection he designed for the brand.
