Soft wools were mixed with leathers, silk crepe was blended with mesh inserts cut in asymmetrical patterns. Silhouettes were long, lean, and effortless – and looked incredibly comfortable to wear. Tights and shoes were shown in the same color as the looks, giving each monochromatic model added texture.
At first glance, this might look like a Calvin Klein show, but Azria still captured audiences with his fitted asymmetry and conservative beading in some of the looks. Overall, this is a welcome new change to a designer we’ve grown to love to watch.
