D&G MILAN F/W 2010

Given that it has been one of the coldest and snowiest winters we’ve seen in awhile, it felt fitting that the models at the D & G show this season looked ready to hit the slopes (ski goggles and all).

Of course this is still a Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana show, so the models may have been decked-out in fur and Alpine-themed separates, but a number of them also lacked any sort of fabric to cover their legs.

Red, white, black, and gray dominated the collection, which extended from sexy strapless bustier tops, flirty lace skirts, and chunky sweaters to sheer, menswear-inspired gowns. Dolce & Gabbana’s diffusion line always manages to be wearable – even when they’re covering their knits in reindeers, or pairing a flowing chiffon dress with hugely-oversized fur boots (the boots were the only thing I hope most women won’t find wearable).
